Welcome
Hello, My name is Jimmy Harrell & I'd like to personally welcome you to jimmyharrell.com as well as thank you for dropping by. To tell you a little about myself, I'm a Technical Project Manager for a local company here in the metroplex. I have been involved in web development for over a decade and truly have a passion for developing interactive websites/web applications that stand out and remain on the cutting edge of technology.
I'm blessed to be married to my wonderful wife Debbie who owns Harrell Productions and can also be found on the web by visiting www.debbieharrell.com. We have a lovely 2 and a half year-old daughter named Faith who is truly the joy of our lives and takes up most of our time these days.
Since this site was set up to target two audiences, I feel I have to give an explanation of what those audiences are. First this site serves to provide any potential customers who desire to have a web site developed a little information on how to get a hold of me as well as a peek into some of my latest work currently on the web. It also serves as an online portfolio to potential employers who desire to grab my resume and view a sample portfolio.
The other audience this site serves is my friends and family. You can always come here to visit and view the latest photos of our family (mainly photos of Faith), and a brief look into my interests and hobbies on the web.
One thing for both groups to remember is that the Web is constantly evolving, which means my site is constantly evolving as well. There are many technologies being developed at a very rapid pace. Because of this, I'm constantly adding more and more pages in hopes to spotlight some of my skillsets in a particular area of interest. So as they say.. Always stay tuned for more action!
Revamping this site became a goal for me in early April of this year. The old site was beginning to look a bit stale and had many depricated HTML tags that weren't being used. Hopefully the revamp is a little more appealing to the eye.
You may realize that the letters that are capitalized on this page spell History. This is what I believe the WWW is making in the 21st century. I hope you enjoy the material. By the way...I will not be spelling other words on the following pages.
